Some things never change! That's so true of Diane Smith Teel! When she was a Sigma Pi Gamma pledge at Pepperdine College with her best friend Gloria Robison, nothing could break her spirit and no amount of teasing could banish her smile. She remained her joyful optimistic self throughout the days of initiation trials and never lost the happiness with which she chose to live life. I read a book recently titled Proof of Heaven by neurologist Eben Alexander. In it, Dr. Alexander relates his own near-death experience sharing his wonderful realization of the perfect home God has made for us. Surely now Diane is living in one of the Father's many mansions; she must be dwelling in God's presence there in heaven just as she also lived there with the Lord here on this earth.
