Diane and I became very special friends after I moved to Enumclaw High School the summer before 8th grade. A couple of months ago we were trying to figure out that defining moment, we couldn't. I believe God put her in my life to show me Him. He gave us a special as I am sure many others felt also. I really am not able to express in words how much I loved her and the sharing of all her family thru the years. The summer after we graduated from H S., a special memory--our parents took us to Seattle 's Greyhound bus station to go to Pepperdine College. We got to the LA greyhound bus depot and didn't have a clue where Pepperdine was located in regard to where we were. We had to keep asking bus drivers and finally found the right one. We arrived on the out skirts of the campus. Diane and I had on matching rain coats probably they were black in color (the temperature outside was about 90 degrees plus). We walked across the campus carrying between us a very large trunk with all our things for campus living. We were thankful that it was a week before school started, they let us store our trunk and no one saw us. We stayed in a trailer of her dad's brother or friend of her dads. No air conditioning it was very hot, but we thought it was great.
